Abstract
The Commerce Department's Economic Development Administration is accepting applications for the Regional Technology and Innovation Hub Program Phase 2. This program aims to support the growth and modernization of U.S. manufacturing and improve the commercialization and domestic production of innovative research. The deadline for applications is February 29, 2024, and a total of $500 million is available for up to 10 awards of up to $150 million each. Eligible applicants include colleges and universities, nonprofit organizations, and state, local, special district, and Native American tribal governments. The program focuses on funding implementation projects that increase regional capacity in workforce development, business and entrepreneur development, technology maturation, and infrastructure.
