Abstract
A bill introduced this month in the California State Assembly would end harm reduction's exclusivity as the approach to addressing persons with substance use issues who live in housing developed under state's Housing First guidelines. If approved, the legislation would allow up to 25% of state housing funds to be allocated to drug‐free housing under an abstinence model. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
