Abstract
The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is accepting applications for the Accelerating Federal Technology Transfer (AFTT) Program. The program aims to promote and facilitate the transfer of technology from federal agencies to nonfederal partners. The deadline for applications is May 28, 2024, and one award of up to $4 million per year is expected. Eligible organizations include colleges and universities, for-profit and nonprofit organizations, state and local governments, Native American tribal governments, and foreign organizations. Successful applicants will collaborate with NIST and other executive board members to develop tools and services for promoting the utilization of federal intellectual property and research resources. They will also establish an education and training infrastructure for technology transfer and engage with industry, academia, and government communities to facilitate access to federal R&D collaborations and technology transfer opportunities. More information can be found on the grants.gov website with the FON# 2024-NIST-AFTT-01. [Extracted from the article]
