Abstract
The Department of Housing and Urban Development is accepting applications for the Fair Housing Initiatives Program Education and Outreach Initiative. The deadline for applications is November 19, 2024, and a total of $8.3 million is available for up to 61 awards ranging from $75,000 to $1.3 million. Eligible applicants include colleges and universities, nonprofit organizations, state and local governments, fair housing enforcement organizations, and other public or private entities involved in preventing discriminatory housing practices. Successful applicants will be responsible for developing and implementing education and outreach programs to inform the public about their rights and obligations under the Fair Housing Act.
