Abstract

The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) are on a war footing and clashes between the RSF and Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) are occurring daily. The situation in the capital city of al-Fasher is dire, with reports of indiscriminate attacks, burning of villages, and mass displacement. The article also mentions the sentencing of individuals involved in the 2013 assassination of Tunisian opposition leader Chokri Belaid, which had a significant impact on the country's democracy.
