Abstract
The article discusses the resumption of normal operations for US airlines following a week of government-mandated flight reductions due to staffing concerns during a federal shutdown. The US Transportation Department and Federal Aviation Administration announced that cuts imposed at 40 major airports would be lifted starting Monday at 6 a.m. New York time, as staffing levels improved. Initially, flight capacity was reduced to manage the workload of air traffic controllers, but recent data indicated that airlines were not fully complying with the mandated reductions. The lifting of restrictions also benefits general aviation operators and commercial space activities. [Extracted from the article]
