SUDAN: Warring Sides Deadlocked.

Abstract
The article provides an update on the civil war in Sudan, emphasizing the devastating impact on the Sudanese people. The conflict has caused numerous deaths, displacement, and a potential famine. International support is being called for by the UN and AU officials to address the crisis and protect civilians. The text also mentions inter-clan fighting in Somalia and recent developments in South Sudan, including attacks and peace talks. The Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) are still engaged in conflict, with external support prolonging the war. The RSF has been accused of committing atrocities, while the army has adopted an offensive strategy. Ongoing fighting and drone attacks are reported in various regions of Sudan.
