Abstract
The full Democratic National Committee (DNC) platform is not finalized, but the GOP one is. A scant two pages, ADAW looked at it to see what it says about drugs, alcohol, substance, treatment and similar related words. This is what we came up with: "We will deploy the U.S. Navy to impose a full Fentanyl Blockade on the waters of our Region—boarding and inspecting ships to look for fentanyl and fentanyl precursors. Before we defend the Borders of Foreign Countries, we must first secure the Border of our Country." "Safe, Secure, and Drug‐Free Schools. Republicans will support overhauling standards on school discipline, advocate for immediate suspension of violent students, and support hardening schools to help keep violence away from our places of learning." The 2020 DNC platform was much more complete. For the 2024 Republican National Committee platform, see https://rncplatform.donaldjtrump.com/. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
