Abstract

The article analyzes the complex and paradoxical relationship between Iran and Israel from 1948 to the 1979 Islamic Revolution. Topics include their covert strategic cooperation against common Arab threats, intelligence and economic partnerships; and the complete transformation to ideological hostility after the revolution.
