Abstract
The article focuses on the ongoing conflict in Sudan, which began in April and has resulted in significant humanitarian crises, including widespread displacement and violence. The war is primarily between the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF), led by Abdel Fattah al-Burhan and Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, respectively. The conflict has led to the deaths of approximately 10,000 people and has displaced over 6 million, making Sudan home to the world's largest displaced population. The RSF has been accused of committing war crimes and ethnic cleansing, particularly in Darfur, where violence against non-Arab communities has escalated. The article calls for urgent international intervention to facilitate peace talks and humanitarian aid, emphasizing the resilience of everyday Sudanese working to support their communities amidst the chaos.
