Abstract
Astronomers eagerly anticipated the insights EROSITA would provide into the X-ray sky, with its ability to study extreme regions of space. EROSITA, part of the Spectrum-Roentgen-Gamma observatory, conducted comprehensive surveys in the medium-energy X-ray range, aiding in the study of energetic sources like black holes and supernovae. Despite its successful surveys, EROSITA is currently in safe mode due to geopolitical tensions, limiting its future operations and potential discoveries. [Extracted from the article]
