Abstract

South Korea's Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Co. is set to finalize a deal to construct two nuclear reactors at the Dukovany complex in the Czech Republic, with an estimated value of $18.8 billion. The agreement, scheduled to be signed this week, follows Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power being chosen as the preferred bidder for the project in July 2024. A Korean delegation, including Industry Minister Ahn Duk-geun and Land Minister Park Sang-woo, will visit Prague for the ceremony and to discuss further economic cooperation with the Czech Republic.
