Abstract

REGULARSThis is one of the largest solar power plants on Earth, the Ivanpah Solar Electric Generating System in California. Found in the Mojave Desert, this system consists of three individual plants that use heliostat mirror technology to reflect sunlight onto solar cells, generating a huge amount of electrical energy.
