Abstract

The article focuses on Azerbaijan's crude oil and petroleum product exports in 2025, highlighting significant growth in shipments to Bulgaria, which totaled 169,500 tons worth $92.3 million—more than doubling in both volume and value compared to 2024. Overall, Azerbaijan exported 23.4 million tons of crude oil and bituminous oil products to 21 countries, generating $12.1 billion, a 16.2% decrease in value but a slight increase in volume from the previous year. Exports of crude oil and products with at least 70% oil content also rose by 29% in value and 36.9% in volume, representing a small portion of the country's total exports. These figures reflect Azerbaijan's continued role as a significant oil exporter despite fluctuations in export value. [Extracted from the article]
