Abstract

In the article, the author discusses the proposed rulemaking issued by the U.S. Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) to overhaul the process of interconnecting electric generation resources to the country's power grid. Other topics include the possible causes of interconnection delays like the emergence of renewable energy sources like solar power plants and withdrawal of applications.
