Abstract
A study conducted by Qinghai Nationalities University in Xizang, China, explores the relationship between the social environment and low-carbon consumption behaviors among youth groups. The research indicates that the social environment positively influences low-carbon cognition and behavior, with low-carbon cognition mediating the relationship between the social environment and behavior. Additionally, lower levels of conformity consumption negatively moderate the relationship between the social environment and low-carbon behavior. The study suggests that promoting environmental awareness and sustainable consumption among young individuals is crucial for protecting the ecological environment. [Extracted from the article]
