A fictionalized case study is presented which focuses on the death of chief executive officer (CEO) Partha Gowda, his company Splendid Ice Cream, and how his wife Priya struggles with balancing the needs of the company with a grieving family. Charles Read, the president and CEO of GetPayroll, and Sarahjane Sacchetti, the chief business officer of Cleo, offer their insights.
