Abstract
A study conducted at Chung Shan Medical University in Taichung, Taiwan, explored the relationship between personality traits, stress, demoralization, sleep disturbances, and psychological well-being in women with breast cancer. The research found that extraversion and neuroticism had direct effects on various aspects of mental health, with post-breast-cancer stress and demoralization playing crucial roles in clinical counseling for survivors of breast cancer. This study sheds light on the complex interplay between personality traits and mental health outcomes in women with breast cancer, highlighting the importance of addressing psychological well-being in clinical settings.
