Abstract
This study investigates the relationships among coping styles, occupational fatigue, occupational stress, and resilience in female school service drivers in Isfahan, Iran. Using validated questionnaires and structural equation modeling on data from 206 participants, the research found that higher occupational stress significantly increases fatigue, which in turn reduces resilience and shifts coping strategies toward emotion-oriented approaches. Emotion-oriented coping was the most common strategy among these drivers, while avoidance-oriented coping was least frequent. The findings highlight the mediating roles of fatigue and resilience between stress and coping styles, suggesting that targeted interventions to reduce fatigue and enhance resilience could promote safer driving behaviors and reduce accident risks in this occupational group.
