Abstract
The article examines how AI assessment tools used in hiring influence job candidates' behavior, often leading them to emphasize analytical traits while downplaying qualities like empathy, creativity, and intuition. This behavioral shift can distort talent pools, compromise the validity of assessments, and reduce diversity within organizations. The authors recommend that companies practice radical transparency about what AI evaluates, conduct regular behavioral audits to detect homogenization, and adopt hybrid assessment models combining AI with human judgment to mitigate these effects. The article highlights the need to design AI hiring systems that preserve authentic candidate presentation and human diversity to support organizational innovation and resilience.
