Abstract
The article focuses on an individual's transformative journey from working in menial jobs to pursuing a career as a fish scientist, driven by a lifelong passion for fishing. After years of feeling disillusioned and unsupported in his education, the individual decided to turn his hobby into a profession, eventually earning a biology degree and entering a master's program in ecological engineering and biodiversity management. Despite facing challenges related to his working-class background and initial academic struggles, he is now pursuing a Ph.D. studying the impact of climate change on arctic char. The narrative highlights the importance of perseverance and the personal fulfillment derived from aligning one's career with their passions. [Extracted from the article]
