Abstract
This article focuses on research from Jiangxi Science and Technology Normal University in the People's Republic of China examining the effects of physical exercise on feelings of inferiority among children and adolescents with disabilities. The study found that physical exercise directly reduces inferiority feelings and self-depletion while increasing self-efficacy, with self-depletion and self-efficacy serving as mediating factors in this relationship. The findings suggest that moderate physical exercise positively impacts mental health in this population by lowering self-depletion and enhancing self-efficacy, which in turn helps prevent feelings of inferiority. This research contributes to understanding the psychological mechanisms through which physical activity benefits children and adolescents with disabilities.
