Abstract

The article identifies three key skills to develop adaptability: learning agility, emotional self-regulation, and dual awareness, which together help leaders respond effectively to novel challenges. Evidence from a leadership program in a global pharmaceutical company suggests that practicing Deliberate Calm significantly improves leadership performance, adaptability, collaboration, and well-being.
