Abstract
This article focuses on a study investigating methamphetamine-induced vaginal lubrication, a phenomenon previously reported in female methamphetamine users. Using female Wistar rats, the study demonstrated that intravenous methamphetamine administration increases vaginal lubrication in a dose-dependent manner. The research also identified significant post-administration increases in estradiol, progesterone, testosterone, and nitric oxide, suggesting these molecules may play a role in the effect. The findings highlight a potential pharmacological target for treating vaginal dryness, a common condition affecting many women.
