Abstract

The State Department's Bureau of International Security‐Nonproliferation is accepting applications for the FY24 Chemical Security Program (CSP) to address the prevention, detection, and counteraction of chemical weapons (CW) by both state and non-state actors globally. The deadline for applications is January 31, 2024, and a total of $7 million will be allocated for up to 25 awards, ranging from $50,000 to $250,000. Eligible applicants include colleges and universities, for-profit organizations, federal entities, nonprofit organizations, public international organizations, and governmental institutions. The CSP activities will focus on disrupting the acquisition of CW materials, deterring CW use, promoting compliance with the Chemical Weapons Convention, and preventing terrorist CW attacks.
