Abstract
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is offering grant funding to address indoor air pollution at schools in low-income and disadvantaged communities. The grants aim to monitor and reduce greenhouse gas emissions and other air pollutants. Nonprofit organizations, state and local governments, Native American tribes, and tribal governments are eligible to apply. The funding amount is approximately $32 million, with grants ranging from $5 million to $8 million for projects lasting up to five years. The deadline for proposals is March 19, 2024. The EPA encourages projects that focus on capacity building, training, and education related to indoor air quality and greenhouse gas reduction in schools.
