Abstract
The establishment of the Ryedale Leg Club in Pickering represents a significant step in the integration of community-based wound care within the framework of primary care networks. This article examines the launch of the Leg Club, its operational model and the pivotal role of the South Hambleton and Ryedale primary care networks in supporting its development. By situating the Leg Club in the broader context of NHS policy, rural healthcare challenges and the Government's 10-year plan for integrated care, this article highlights how primary care networks can act as catalysts for innovation in wound management and holistic patient care.
