Abstract

This article examines the similarities and differences between the mystical philosophies of Ibn 'Arabi and Friedrich Nietzsche. It explores their perspectives on self-knowledge, the nature of the world, and the importance of perspective in understanding reality. While Nietzsche emphasizes individual freedom and the rejection of traditional values, Ibn 'Arabi's metaphysics focuses on the unity of existence and the potential for human perfection. The article suggests that while there are resonances between the two, Nietzsche's philosophy falls short of fully encompassing the universal metaphysics of Ibn 'Arabi. [Extracted from the article]
