Abstract
Professor of Theology at Loyola University of Maryland, Frederick Bauerschmidt has given us a gift for soulful meditation. For Barth and Bauerschmidt, the task of the theologian, and the preacher (for both they are generally the same role) is to bring revelation to the world, which it so desperately needs. All in all, the present collection is an artful and poetic collection of sermons that deserve the Christian's time and reflection. [Extracted from the article]
