Abstract
For the author, the path to absolute truth - what Bion called O (p. 83) - parallels the path to gentleness, the Buddha's path. One can discern the echo of the concepts of holding (Winnicott, [13]), container (Bion, [2]), and mentalization (Fonagy, [5]) - concepts that are also discussed by the author. Afterward, the author mentions Freud's ([6]) theory of life and death instincts, how we are entangled by them and acknowledges not only the opportunities but also the difficulties of liberating from ignorance, hate, desire. As Freud said: " I where Id was - Ego shall be i " (Freud, [8]). [Extracted from the article]
