Abstract
A recent study conducted at Victoria University Wellington in New Zealand explored the experiences of Pacific Christian adults in Aotearoa New Zealand regarding infertility and assisted reproduction technologies (ART) in the context of their religious beliefs. The research highlighted the conflicting emotions of shame and hope that participants experienced due to their religious beliefs, as well as the importance of cultural influences on their infertility journeys. The study concluded that improving ART strategies for Pacific communities is crucial to ensure services are culturally and religiously responsive. The findings were published in the journal Culture, Health & Sexuality. [Extracted from the article]
