Ransome and Villalonga-Olives Respond to "Improving Measures to Counter Bias".

The authors respond to a commentary that called for improvement of measures to counter health disparities in African American and White people conditioned by social capital resources. They recognize the absence of literature that allows measurement of racial differences in relation to social capital and tools to measure health inequalities between races. They call for involvement of ethnic minority groups in questionnaire development and expansion of operationalization of social capital.
