Abstract

The article focuses on explaining the Anglican doctrine of the creeds by examining how the Thirty-nine Articles and the 1662 Book of Common Prayer affirm the Nicene, Apostles', and Athanasian Creeds. It argues that Anglican commitment to the creeds is grounded in their scriptural authority, their role in worship and catechesis, and their importance for maintaining doctrinal clarity and catholic continuity today.
