Abstract
A group of Kenyan individuals, along with human interest groups, have requested the International Criminal Court to investigate President William Ruto's administration for alleged human rights violations, including forced disappearances and extra-judicial killings. The activists claim that these violations amount to crimes against humanity and are calling for swift legal action to hold those responsible accountable. The Kenyan National Human Rights Commission reports that at least 82 people have gone missing since protests over President Ruto's unpopular tax plans, with 29 still unaccounted for. The Ruto administration has faced criticism for its handling of cases involving foreign dissidents, including the recent deportation of asylum seekers at the request of Turkey. Kenya's National Police Service denies involvement in the alleged disappearances and deaths, while President Ruto has pledged to address the issue of abductions. [Extracted from the article]
