Abstract
This article focuses on the development and impact of a virtual art salon created by three expressive arts therapists to manage stress and burnout during the COVID-19 pandemic. The salon provided a bi-weekly online space for healthcare professionals and educators to engage in art-based reflective practices, fostering themes of sacred space, rituals, connection, communication, and creative transformation. The authors highlight how participation in this community artmaking supported their mental health, enhanced self-care, and facilitated personal and professional growth amid pandemic-related challenges. The report suggests that immersive creative expression in community settings can serve as a valuable tool for coping with trauma and preventing burnout in crisis situations.
