Abstract

The article discusses the civity concept of a culture that deliberately fosters relationships of respect and empathy with others who are different in 2025. Topics covered research which shows that communities that link disparate social groups have lesser violence, more collaboration in addressing local needs, and better health, and civity's key strategies in realizing a healthy community. Also noted is the value of sharing personal stories to strengthen community relationships.
