Abstract
An editorial focuses on the nature and limits of faith within Christianity. It discusses the biblical importance of faith as trust in God and in human relationships, while warning against misplaced or excessive faith in distorted versions of God or in religious leaders, which can have harmful or even tragic consequences. It also examines the real-world implications of such misplaced faith, highlighting cases of abuse in church institutions where trust in authority was exploited.
