Abstract

The article focuses on the perceived impact of a multi-year campus hazing prevention initiative implemented at eight universities. Following concerns raised by a reader regarding potential conflicts of interest, the authors clarified their affiliations with StopHazing and the Hazing Prevention Consortium, both of which are involved in hazing education and prevention. They confirmed that they were not compensated for conducting the study, and one author, Dr. Allan, is a faculty member at the University of Maine who contributes to legislative efforts related to hazing prevention. The Journal Editor approved the updated declaration of conflicting interests. [Extracted from the article]
