Abstract
Age of Mythology: Retold is an upcoming remake of the 2002 game that aims to upgrade the graphics and gameplay while maintaining the essence of the original. The game features revamped mythological monsters, such as Medusas, Pegasus scouts, and the titan Cerberus, with improved visuals and classic sounds. The remake also includes changes to the game engine, such as adding ray tracing and increasing the population limit, which will have a significant impact on gameplay strategies. Additionally, players will have more control over their myth units and god powers, with the latter now being on cooldowns instead of one-time use. The goal of the remake is to make the game more accessible and enjoyable for both new and old players, while still honoring the original's greatness. [Extracted from the article]
