The article provides a detailed account of the Lebanese Civil War, which began as sectarian violence between Palestinian insurgents and Maronite forces but quickly escalated into an international conflict involving Syria, Israel, and other nations. The conflict saw various key events such as the Syrian intervention, the founding of Hezbollah, multiple military operations, and the involvement of international peacekeepers.
