Abstract
In the first part of the twentieth century, what has come to be known as the East African Revival saw many conversions in a new movement of the Spirit. An emphasis on holiness and explosive growth followed. Some of the background and key factors in the movement are surveyed here, with personal observations on the modern relevance and ongoing influence of the Revival. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
