Abstract
This article explores the relationship between political activism, egalitarian justice, and public reason. It addresses criticisms that public reason theorists separate political philosophy from political activism and argues that political activism can be compatible with a commitment to public reason. The article also discusses the compatibility of political liberalism and political activism, asserting that acknowledging the legitimacy of other political conceptions of justice does not prevent one from promoting their own preferred conception.
