Abstract
The article discusses the success of the months-long strike staged by workers at aircraft manufacturer Boeing in the West Coast. On October 31, 2024, the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers announced securing an improved contract proposal from Boeing, which was approved by 59 percent of members on November 4. Factors behind the strike included a lack of pay raises and pensions and the long hours required by the company.
