Abstract
AI-assisted workflows can expedite discovery processes but introduce complexities in maintaining chain-of-custody defensibility. Traditional chain-of-custody practices involve transparency into evidence handling, while AI-driven evidence often raises questions about admissibility and authenticity. To ensure chain-of-custody integrity, legal professionals should document every step of the AI process, select AI tools with audit capabilities, and maintain human oversight. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
