Abstract

World leaders attending the first Africa Climate Summitin Nairobi have committed to placing the continent at the forefront ofthe battle against climate change. African leaders have strongly called for developed economies to fulfilltheir commitment to provide $100 billion in annual climate finance, fora revamp of the global financial system to better address Africa'srequirements, and for a doubling of climate adaptation funding by 2025.
