Abstract
Growing concerns about fossil fuel dependence and emissions drive the search for sustainable transportation. Hydrogen is a promising alternative for heavy-duty trucks, but the optimal technology (combustion engine vs. fuel cell) remains unclear. While both are technically feasible, their environmental impact needs analysis considering fuel consumption. This article proposes adapting the Ecoscore methodology, typically used for cars, to assess the environmental impact of hydrogen-powered heavy-duty trucks. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
