Abstract
In addition, this method can assist with taking images with the same focal distance, and it may also have benefits as a camera-stabilizer. Https://doi.org/10.1093/ced/llad126 Dear Editor, Infrared thermography (IRT) is a growing technique in dermatology, as it provides information that can be of help characterizing several lesions in a noninvasive manner.[1] As an example, it has been used for the diagnosis, management and/or follow-up of melanoma, hidradenitis suppurativa and burns.[1],[2] Given the valuable information that IRT can yield, portable infrared thermographic cameras for smartphones have been developed.[2] These accessories allow dermatologists to easily take thermographic images at the patient's bedside.
