Abstract
This article discusses the benefits of planting Sweet Alyssum, a flowering plant that attracts bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. It is a great nectar source for pollinators, especially honey bees. Sweet Alyssum is native to the Mediterranean, Canary Islands, and the Azores, but it has adapted well to temperate areas. It can be used as ground cover, pot filler, or trailer in baskets, and it continues to flower until frost. Planting Alyssum can attract beneficial insects that help control pests in vegetable gardens. The article also mentions different cultivars of Alyssum that come in red, white, and blue shades, providing a colorful display. [Extracted from the article]
