Abstract
The article examines the complexities of Iran's shadow infrastructure and how it has managed to survive despite decades of sanctions. Topics discussed include percentage of Iranian oil that is destined for China, the plan of Tehran to continue to expand its oil export through alternative infrastructure, and effect of the unexpected significant cooling down of Chinese economy in the summer of 2024.
