Abstract
The article discusses the use of technology to monitor and analyze human rights violations and bring perpetrators to justice. It highlights three emerging ways in which digital technologies are being utilized: digital open-source information, digital reconstructions of crime scenes, and generative artificial intelligence. The use of sensors, such as smartphones and security cameras, allows for the documentation and monitoring of abuses, while digital reconstructions provide a fuller understanding of how atrocities unfolded. Generative artificial intelligence, although prone to inaccuracies, aids in legal research and analysis. The article emphasizes the need for law schools to incorporate digital sources into their curriculum and mentions initiatives and programs that are already addressing this issue.
